La fiebre del heno o rinoconjuntivitis alérgica puede afectar a los ojos provocando síntomas como picor, enrojecimiento y lagrimeo. Esta reacción se produce cuando el sistema inmunitario responde a alérgenos transportados por el aire, especialmente el polen. Aunque la fiebre del heno afecta principalmente a la nariz, también puede provocar molestias oculares importantes y reducir el confort visual.
